The Ankh is an ancient Egyptian symbol that is formed by an oval or point-down teardrop set atop a T shape and is known as key of life, the key of the Nile or crux ansata. A hieroglyphic character that represents the concept of eternal life. The Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest.

The Scarab had became enormously popular in Ancient Egypt they symbolized hope and the restoration of life. Amulets in the shape of a scarab were used for personal or administrative seals, diplomatic purposes, to commemorate or advertise royal achievements, good luck charms, to ward off evil and the protection of mummies.

Artisans made scarab jewelry in many designs including winged scarabs using precious gems and painted clay whose colors were rich and beautiful. Blue symbolized the Nile River. Red symbolized Ra. There were touches of yellow for the desert and sun. Green was used to emphasis growth. Over time, the scarab became a sacred symbol.

The Cartouche is an ancient Egyptian design that honors the name inscribed within. It symbolizes the power that is in a name as well as the respect in which it is held. To surround a name with a line symbolizes the protective force that envelopes it. The name symbolizes the person and the Cartouche protects the name. Most Egyptian cartouches surround the names of Gods and those of Pharaohs, who were seen as the incarnation of th Sun God, Ra. To carry such a Cartouche might be seen as a way of respecting the force of the Gods, the Earthly Powers, One's fellow humans, and oneself.

Hieroglyphics were used by the Ancient Egyptians as a form of writing for almost 3,500 years, but hieroglyphics took a lot of time and effort to make and were very hard to learn and only royalty, scribes, priests, and government officials could use hieroglyphics.

Finish
Metal Plated Plating is a very old process and can be done using gold, silver, brass and other metals. Usually a more expensive metal such as gold is plated over a lesser metal like pewter or sterling silver. An entire piece may be plated or just small details to enhance the design. Plating can be worn away or corroded away in some situations though pieces can be re-plated by some jewelers.
Material
Brass Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc; the proportions of zinc and copper can be varied to create a range of tones from dull, muted gold to bright and shiny gold. Used for everything from jewelry to home decor. It doesn't tarnish and some formulations are completely corrosion resistant. Thin layers of brass can be electroplated over other metals such as pewter.
Pewter Pewter is a malleable metal alloy, traditionally 85–99% tin, with the remainder consisting of copper and other metals. It has a low melting point and is very easy to cast in molds. It has been used since ancient times for everything from jewelry to table wear and was once called the "poor mans silver". Generally pewter has a grayish/silver semi-dull finish, though this varies depending on the metals combined with the tin and can be colored black or other shades or plated with gold or silver. Pewter is generally hypo-allergenic and will not tarnish or react in most conditions. Note it can break or crack if flexed multiple times and rings cannot be re-sized, though interior ring springs or other adjusters might be used.
